Who Can You Biblically Counsel?

1. All counseling must be God oriented via 3 vehicles:

• Listening!
• Utilizing the Word of God
• Utilizing prayer

2. How can you counsel someone using "God" if they don't believe in God? The facts are you cannot ! Therefore, the first step is to determine where they are in Christ. Here's some questions to ask:

• Do you believe in God?
• Who is Jesus?
• If you were to die today would you go to heaven? How do you know?

• Witnessing to unbelievers?
