• My father - Jim Doyle - diagnosed with thyroid cancer and lung cancer. His left lung was removed in August 2006 and he went through radiation and chemotherapy. On October 30, 2006, the report was the cancer has spread and he had been given 2 weeks to live. On November 5, 2006 at 8:40pm, my father passed away, alone, in his hospice room . The James B. " Jimmy " Doyle web page is being developed in his honor, because he was the greatest man we ever knew.
• My mom - Muffy Doyle - had heart problems (cardiomyopathy), and recently lost her husband Jimmy of 51 years.....
• Debby (sister) - had Muscular Dystrophy - confined to a wheelchair - and was confined to a bed for 2 months in an Intensive Care with a tracheotomy "trach" tube in order to breathe. She had four tubes in her body - - - a "trach" tube, feeding tube and bathroom tubes....and she struggled mightily from depression and anxiety.....which turned to peace and eventually joy..... She passed away on July 2, 2007.....
• Mack (brother) - has Muscular Dystrophy - confined to a wheelchair
• Dan (brother) - healthy!
• Tim (me) - has Muscular Dystrophy and had heart problems - confined to a wheelchair
• Jody (sister) - had Muscular Dystrophy and Multiple Sclerosis - was confined to a wheelchair - passed away in 2003 as a result - (See Jody's writeup and picture )
• Jamie (sister) - healthy!
• Jenny (sister) - has Multiple Sclerosis and major heart problems - her heart problems almost took her life -Go to the Jenny Doyle Walker Website

We are a family that is familiar with the topic of suffering. I developed this website with the hope of providing some comfort to people in times of suffering.
